BDAY 99.1 FM (WFQY) is often described as a breath of fresh air. WFQY went on air in 2012 as Jackson’s hottest new Adult Urban station. 

99.1 joined the Jackson, MS market as the Premiere Classic
Hip-Hop station playing classic Hip-Hop and R&B all while occasionally mixing in today’s jams to keep it fresh.

As listeners scanned their radio dials, 99.1 FM quickly became a regular position on their dials. WFQY has built a faithful listening audience of Adults 25-54 at the prime of their buying power.

WFQY is known by it’s catchy nickname BDAY (short for Back in the DAY jams).
